During one of the regular visits of Dr. Deore to Niphad, Dr Devere met 65-year-old Karbhari Sanap, who had complaints of upper abdominal pain and acidity. He also saw symptoms of obesity, flatulence and other signs that indicated a necessity to check for gall stones. Sanap was recommended to undergo sonography. The sonography report showed that the patient had a fairly large number of pigment gall bladder stones. Then, an unbelievable 2,245 stones were removed from the gall bladder of Mr. Sanap laparoscopically by Dr. Sachin Deore.
